In Trump world, up is down, the sun is the moon, the sky is green, and lies are alternative facts. Trump media, Fox News, has followed that line of reverse thinking. One of the network’s hosts, Rachel Campos-Duffy, has proven herself to be among the best of them. Look at what she said on this Sunday morning talk show.
She appeared Fox & Friends with the strange thought that the increasing hatred toward American Jews was the fault of “the left.” Her co-host Pete Hegseth said that everyone was demonizing conservatives, because the Jewish synagogue shooter followed the president and was a “right-wing bigot:”
“It’s all putting them down to raise themselves up,’
Then, Campos-Duffy turned right and brought up the president’s upset over black athletes kneeling during the National Anthem song in support of police violence against African Americans. She said Trump’s attack on the football players was unifying people after the synagogue shooting and the 14 mail bombs sent to leading Democrats and those who criticized Trump:
‘What struck me is something that we could all come around is the fact that we’re all Americans. And one of the things I think President Trump has been very good about is really supporting our flag, uniting us around our patriotism, help up being proud about being Americans. I just think it’s interesting. That’s something that he’s actually been criticized for and that’s something that we could use at this moment to unite us as Americans.’
Hegseth thought that the shooting coverage would last only “for one day and move on.” Yet, the media covered the mail bombs for a week, he said.
Then, Campos-Duffy took another right turn and blamed the “left” for the Philadelphia shooting in the Jewish synagogue:
‘There is a rise in anti-Semitism,. And it’s happening in Europe. That’s something that hasn’t been talked a lot about because it doesn’t fit the narrative of the neo-Nazis that we see here, that fringe group here in America. And it’s infecting our universities is a very virulent anti-Semitism from the left. So if we’re going to have the conversation about the rise in anti-Semitism, we need to talk about where it’s being mainstreamed, which is in our universities and some of the fringe of the progressive side.’
Fox News’ Sean Hannity came out and said that the other media needs to focus on “real news and real scandals.”
‘Instead of blaming Trump for bad weather, the mainstream media should focus on real news and real scandals.’
Fox claims it is;
