On Sunday, former President Barack Obama held a rally in Chicago, Illinois, as a high-profile push in support of Democratic governor candidate J.B. Pritzker and the party’s other top hopefuls. Obama urged Illinois voters to for push for change. On Friday, he spoke on behalf of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in Georgia. If elected, she would become the first black governor in the state of Georgia.
It isn’t really coincidental that Mr. Trump has been holding his own rallies as well including a rally in Macon, Georgia, on Sunday for Republican gubernatorial candidate Brain Kemp, and he was off to host another rally in Tennessee with Vice President Mike Pence on behalf of Marsha Blackburn, the Republican candidate for Senate.
However, what is both surprising and hilarious is that Fox News decided to give former President Obama’s rallies more air time than Mr. Trump’s rallies. Trump supporters on Twitter did not take kindly to this fact and whined on Twitter like 5 year-olds whose Halloween candy was stolen.
What on earth will Trump supporters do if “CNN sucks” and Fox won’t air their fake president? There isn’t much sympathy for them.
POLITICO reported though in early October that Mr. Trump is losing his gold ratings therefore, Fox isn’t airing his speeches or rallies as much, which doesn’t help Republicans in the midterm elections. According to POLITICO:
‘As he’s ramped up his rally schedule ahead of the midterms, viewership numbers for the raucous prime-time events have been roughly similar to — sometimes dipping below — Fox News’ regular programming, and the network has recently stopped airing most evening events in full.’
