Ruth Bader Ginsburg, age 85, was hospitalized after a fall in her office when she broke three of her ribs. Her office has released a statement, according to CNBC:
‘She went home, but after experiencing discomfort overnight, went to George Washington University Hospital early this morning. Tests showed that she fractured three ribs on her left side and she was admitted for observation and treatment.’

The fall follows a stay in the hospital in 2012 for the same type of injury, as well as a bout with cancer and a cardiac stint in 2014. Yet Ginsburg has persisted and said she intends to stay in her position for as long as possible.
