The feud between President Donald Trump and CNN’s Jim Acosta is not over. After a contentious press conference during which Trump berated the reporter, interrupted him, called him a “terrible person,” and had a female White House aide try to take his microphone out of his hand, the story has just become more alarming.

According to TMZ:

‘President Trump put in years of secret planning to get CNN’s White House correspondent kicked off his detail … at least according to Omarosa.

‘Trump’s former aide was in D.C. Wednesday when a photog asked her about Jim Acosta and CNN suing POTUS for revoking his press pass. Omarosa was pretty nonchalant about it, because she claims the Prez held “private meetings” about Acosta back when she was still in the White House.

‘Omarosa claims booting Acosta, in particular, has been on Trump’s agenda for a long time.’

During the presidential campaigns in 2016, Omarosa warned reporters “let me just tell you, Mr. Trump has a long memory and we’re keeping a list.”

Trump first began berating Acosta during his first press conference as president. The night before the presser, CNN ran a story on the dossier that had been compiled by Michael Steele that alleged Russian collusion by Trump’s campaign.

When Acosta tried to ask a question, Trump refused him, saying “you are fake news.”

Trump would not be the first president to keep an “enemies list” of reporters who have printed negative stories about him. The last one reported was kept by disgraced President Richard Nixon. The parallels between Trump and Nixon, as well as the investigation into Russian collusion and Watergate, have been evident for some time.
