Donald Trump must have thought he got a great burn in on Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) when he referred to him as “little Adam Schitt” on Twitter, or else he’s just too dumb to notice his misspellings. Schiff, however, was ready with a response.

It isn’t as if Americans can be shocked anymore by Trump’s petty Twitter attacks. After all, he’s referred to a woman with whom he had an extramarital affair “horseface,” President Obama as a “sad and sick guy” and told everyone to check out a sex tape that featured a Miss America winner who criticized him when there was no such tape.
The president of the United States referring to a member of Congress using this grade school bully level of pettiness, however, was not only disgusting but surprising.
On Saturday, it seemed Trump was trying to soften his tone, praising Nancy Pelosi and offering to help her get votes, singing the praises of Florida’s gubernatorial candidate, Andrew Gillum, after calling him corrupt and a “thief,” and even Stacey Abrams, whom he had tried to convince his Twitter followers was trying to steal the race.
It’s bad enough that Trump lies repeatedly to the country, his attacks are embarrassing. It’s impossible to imagine the calm, cool, and collected “No Drama Obama” ever doing such a childish thing, or the absolute frenzy Fox News would have exploded into if he had.
Twitter was there to back up Schiff and remind Trump that he’s the least-liked president in history. See some of their comments below:
