Donald Trump is ever on the watch for another enemy, so he can play the victim. This time POTUS claimed that he had pointed out Osama bin Laden in his own book and everyone simply ignored him. That alone gave Trump another enemy and made him the victim, all at once. Interesting that the commander-in-chief’s tweet did not note that President George W. Bush was president when 9/11 occurred. It just gets better and better.
Trump tweeted:
‘Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there. Fools!..’
‘….We no longer pay Pakistan the $Billions because they would take our money and do nothing for us, Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another. They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ENDING!’
The Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said in a tweet that his country “suffered 75,000 casualties” and lost $123 billion in economic dollars. Conversely, U.S. only lost “$20 billion.” Khan continued:
‘Records needs to be put straight on Mr. Trump’s tirade against Pakistan: 1. No Pakistani was involved in 9/11 but Pak decided to participate in US War on Terror. 2. Pakistan suffered 75,000 casualties in this war & over $123 bn was lost to economy. US “aid” was a miniscule $20 bn.’
Pakistan’s Khan was irate. He said that Trump should stop making a scapegoat of his country. Instead, he suggested America should do a “serious assessment” of Trump:
‘…record needs to be put straight on Mr. Trump’s tirade against Pakistan over the weekend.’
The man in the Oval Office was trying to defend cutting military aid to Pakistan in half.
