According to The Washington Post, Trump apparently doesn’t believe the newly-released climate report because he can’t see it. What’s more, he added:
‘One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we’re not necessarily such believers.
‘As to whether or not it’s man-made and whether or not the effects that you’re talking about are there, I don’t see it, I don’t believe it.”
Yes. He really said that last night.
Keep in mind that the National Climate Assessment report (which was released on Black Friday, no doubt planned so that it’d be buried or missed by the world), was released by his own administration. It was a result of the combined efforts of 13 federal agencies, including multiple scientists. You can view the dire warnings in all of their glory on their own website in the link.
Trump states that he doesn’t believe the findings because of his “very high levels of intelligence.” In addition, he doubled-down on our “record clean” air and water and stated that in other countries such as China, South American and Russia, the air is “incredibly dirty, and when you’re talking about an atmosphere, oceans are very small.” He added:
‘And it blows over and it sails over. I mean we take thousands of tons of garbage off our beaches all the time that comes over from Asia. It just flows right down the Pacific. It flows and we say: ‘Where does this come from?’ And it takes many people, to start off with.’
Trump has repeatedly showcased how unintelligent he truly is by mixing up weather and the climate. The two are not the same, don’t believe his lies. In fact, Trump made Anderson Cooper’s “RidicuList” on Monday. Cooper had this to say:
You just cannot make this stuff up.
Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane jumped in on the idiocy and tweeted:
The President’s comments read like a cat walking across a keyboard. Scientists compile peer-reviewed evidence for nationwide presentation, and this guy responds with gibberish. If you’re still buying what he’s selling, guess what, folks: You’re in a cult. https://t.co/3H70OaNizA

Shortly after this story broke, Twitter also chimed on his dumb remarks. Here are just some of the hilarious tweets:
