Legal trouble has been heating up for Mr. Trump lately, and at this point, he is likely doing anything possible to detract from the Russia investigation and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s latest findings. Trump was just implicated in crimes that took place before the 2016 election.
On Saturday, the president flew on Twitter to say “it was an honor to attend today’s Army Navy game in Philadelphia.”

Mr. Trump can pay lip service to his appreciation of the military as often as he wants, but his actions clearly don’t measure up to it, and the fact that he is a five-time draft dodger doesn’t help either. Here’s what Twitter had to say:
On Friday, according to The Boston Globe:
‘Federal prosecutors said Friday that President Trump directed illegal payments to ward off a potential sex scandal that threatened his chances of winning the White House in 2016, putting the weight of the Justice Department behind accusations previously made by his former lawyer.’
Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen said that the president directed payments to two women who claim they had affairs with him.
It was also shockingly revealed in another filing that prosecutors said that an unnamed Russian offered Cohen “government level” synergy between Russia and Trump’s campaign in November 2015. This is months earlier than what was previously detailed in indictments.
The Globe reported:
‘Together, the filings laid bare the most direct evidence to date linking Trump to potentially criminal conduct, and added to an already substantial case that Russia was seeking to sway the 2016 election in his favor.’
