President Donald Trump has publicly called for authorities to investigate the primetime comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live over its humorous depictions of his presidency, but the Republican leader has inspired countless satirical portrayals across the globe as well. Check this out.

Donald Trump’s thin skin makes him a bigger target for the comedians. Yet, get this, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner will not even have a comedian — not that the president planned on attending this year either. Now, Trump is just itching to get those Saturday Night Live comedians in chains as his tweet showed.

Trump tweeted that he believed Saturday Night Live (SNL) skits were just “Dem commercials.” Still, that was not enough comic criticism for him. He genuinely wanted to haul the comedians to court for “defame & belittle! Collusion?” Newsweek reported:

‘A REAL scandal is the one sided coverage, hour by hour, of networks like NBC & Democrat spin machines like Saturday Night Live. It is all nothing less than unfair news coverage and Dem commercials. Should be tested in courts, can’t be legal? Only defame & belittle! Collusion?’

Comedians around the world have caught Trump mania. The baby Trump balloon that shows up everywhere around the globe that the president travels, and that was just the beginning.

The president should just skip watching the Saturday evening show, SNL, if he is going to be so offended. Still, the siren song of his name on television called to him, and he came. The late night show did a take-off on the Christmas classic from 1946, It’s A Wonderful Life.

Alec Baldwin has been doing Trump since POTUS took office, and he did not disappoint. The skit gave the audience an opportunity to imagine what a Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential election win would have meant. In it, Trump was actually happy in that alternate reality where he lost.

In London, England, one man was laughing at a Donald Trump sort-of look-alike.They awarded him the much not-desirable Golden Idiot prize. The event took place at the Fans Village in Alexandra Palace. According to The Washington Post, our president was presented the Goldener Vollpfosten, translated as “Golden Dumbass” or “Golden Idiot” in absentia for the fourth year running. Comedian and journalist Oliver Welke received the award for Trump at Germany’s Heute-Show.

The man sitting in the Oval Office has achieved something he has desired, just not in the manner. He shared the Golden award along with “Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un.”

However, Trump should not be too offended. The show also shared the award with the entire United Kingdom.

There was a pattern in the evolution of Trump mocking. After Trump’s inauguration, Europe picked up on the new president’s “America First” slogan. A whole series of videos appeared urging world leaders to invite him into their countries. The videos caught on, then ran over to China, India, Malaysia, and even beyond.

The Egyptians made a Twinkies commercial in 2016, mocking he Republican candidate. After he won, Peace Cake Productions, which is based in Cairo, Egypt, did an Egyptian “Election Results” parody video. They caught Trump’s inelegant language, his obsession with the wall, and the collusion with Russia.

The world noticed when Trump called some African and Latin American countries “shithole” countries. Namibia and Zambia tourism companies used the president as the butt of their joke in an ad campaign.

A Pew Research Center poll found that only 27 percent of people from other countries trust Donald Trump. That was lower than Russia’s President Vladimir Putin (30 percent), China’s President Xi Jinping (34 percent), France’s President Emmanuel Macron (46 percent), and Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel (52 percent).

There has been no word on North Korea’s Dear Leader Kim Jong Un yet, but never say never.
