Beto O’Rourke may have lost the midterm election against Ted Cruz in Texas, but what he also did was set up camp in the hearts of Americans, who learned through his campaign process, that he is the grassroots leader they’re looking for. He stood up to the president every time something needed to be said, and he made a total fool of Ted Cruz during multiple debates.
Now, O’Rourke is still taking on Trump, and he’s using his Twitter account to do it. O’Rourke tweeted the following video Friday:
— Beto O'Rourke (@BetoORourke) December 28, 2018
The video states that:
“The southern border already has over 600 miles of wall and fence. And since 2007, the undocumented population has grown more through visa overstays than unauthorized border crossings. We need realistic immigration reform, not a symbol of division.”
