House Officials Announce Major Trump Administration Investigation

Our so-called “president” been ranting and raving for days and days about the “obstructionist Democrats” killing any hope for building his big beautiful “YUGE” wall.

Just this morning he issued another threat claiming he will shut down the Southern border if those voting against his wall don’t get in line with his program.

This is likely just another outburst to deflect his base from what’s really going on, or perhaps he’s scared beyond words? That’s entirely possible, because if Trump thinks the new year, with Democrats taking over the House is going to be easy for him, he’s sadly mistaken.

This morning CNN broke the news that they are reviewing recent committee job postings looking for lawyers specializing in some very specific skills, including “criminal law, immigration law, constitutional law, intellectual property law, commercial and administrative law (including antitrust and bankruptcy), or oversight work.”

It seems that Congress has been prepping for the largest investigation into the activities of a sitting president that has been held in decades.

According to the report:

‘Party leaders and committee chairs have spent months ironing out potential targets, from President Donald Trump’s taxes and business dealings to the conduct of current and former Cabinet members.

‘To handle all this investigative work, House Democrats are expected to double the number of their staffers. Though they can’t officially hire anyone until the new Congress is seated, plans are well underway, with House members saying that candidates — especially those with specific investigative skills, from money laundering to contracting — are coming from all directions.’

‘The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee needs lawyers, too, posting jobs for “executive branch investigative counsel.”

The ads placed were pretty specific, and one such posting read:

‘Responsibilities include staffing letters and subpoenas, conducting interviews, organizing and staffing hearings and preparing memos, talking points, statements and reports as necessary,” the listing stated. “Previous congressional or executive branch experience preferred, but candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have attention to detail, excellent writing skills, excel under pressure and have a sense of humor.”‘

Evidently, there are a lot of people who are willing to take major pay cuts to come and fill these positions. Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who will soon lead the House Intelligence Committee said:

‘We’re being deluged with resumes, really impressive resumes. There will be no shortage of good candidates. The difficulty will be choosing among them.’

This investigation will coincide with Maxine Waters’ work looking into the possibility of money laundering involving Trump’s loans with Deutsche Bank.

If all of this comes to fruition, we may even finally see what’s in Trump’s tax returns.

New Jersey Democrat, Bill Pascrell said of Trump’s taxes:

‘We’ve got research up the gazoo behind us and the law’s on our side.’

Incoming chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) added:

‘I think there’s a lot of information in them that would be of interest to my committee. For example, we’d like to know exactly what our, what has been the sources of income for this President. He’s made all kinds of claims that he doesn’t have relationships with Russia. He told us he didn’t have any relationships with Russia; we come to find out that’s not accurate. So there’ve been a lot of allegations, but I think the tax returns, where he has to swear that the information is accurate, that would tell us a lot.’

2019 is not looking good for Trump, and we can’t WAIT for the fallout!
