Donald Trump has a bad habit of trashing other people and then ranting when others respond. No matter how many times he calls the media “the enemy of the people,” he just cannot handle it when the media fires back with facts.
Jill Abramson has had a lot to say since Fox News writer Howard Kurtz published a story, the story Trump is using as the basis for his tweet, about her upcoming book. Spoiler alert: none of it is good for Fox News or bad for The New York Times.
‘His article is an attempt to Foxify my book, which is full of praise for The Times and The Washington Post and their coverage of Trump.’
Trump always points out that people don’t like him and say awful things about him, but never looks at his own actions to understand why. Perhaps Peter Strzok, an FBI agent who had seen the evidence of cyberattacks by Russia in support of Trump’s presidential bid, had a reason to not want him in the White House. Perhaps news media outlets report bad things about him because he does bad things. Perhaps liberals call him racist because many of the things he says and does are racist.
This is a president with no power of self-reflection, no concept of being held accountable, and no ability to look outside the praise from his supporters and sycophants to gauge what the people he was elected to represent want or need.
Twitter was not hearing the whiny complaints. Read some of their comments below:
