Trump Says Federal Workers Will Figure It Out & He Can Relate To Their Pain

One of the biggest ironies around Trump supporters in the working class is their insistence that their chosen president is that he stands for working Americans and is most able to relate to their needs. After all, Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, has failed to pay people who worked for him, hires undocumented immigrants over American workers to keep his business expenses low, and implements policies that directly harm the working class.

On Sunday, Trump was asked by a reporter during a brief press pool before Trump headed off to Camp David whether or not he can relate to the pain government workers are now experiencing by not being paid. Trump had the absolute nerve to say that he did and that they’ll be okay.

‘I’m sure that the people that are on the receiving end will make adjustments. They always do. And they’ll make adjustments. People understand exactly what’s going on. But many of those people that won’t be receiving a paycheck, many of those people agree 100 percent with what I’m doing.’

The “adjustments” Trump refers to are the adjustments of having a home versus being homeless, being able to provide for their children versus relying on charity or simply going without, and being able to pay their bills versus going bankrupt.

Although Trump has insisted in the past that his original border wall plan has never changed, he then discussed changing the materials used to build that wall. He’s said in the past that it should be concrete, which then changed to a “see-through wall” that is basically just a fence, to his new idea about steel slats.

‘The barrier or the wall can be of steel instead of concrete if that works better.’

There’s no word on whether that steel will come from American factories or the Russian steel Trump has used in the past for government projects.

He also held to previous statements that government workers support his shutdown because of their willingness to sacrifice the survival of their families for keeping brown people out of the country. He’s also posted numerous tweets saying that the majority of those currently going without pay are Democrats.

It’s just more inconsistencies from the most dishonest president in history. Twitter was quick to catch those inconsistencies, as well. Read some of their comments below:
