Ivanka Trump is in some seriously hot water after a bombshell report was released Thursday night revealing that the president directed his attorney to lie to Congress. According to allegations, Ivanka was not only aware, but working on the Trump Tower Moscow project. Cohen reportedly told Robert Mueller that he informed both Ivanka and Donald Jr. about plans for the new building in Russia.
If I were Trump, Ivanka or Don Jr, this would make my blood run cold:
"The special counsel’s office learned about Trump’s directive for Cohen to lie to Congress through…internal company emails, text messages, and a cache of other documents."

Ivanka released a statement via a spokesperson hours later, but she didn’t deny the allegations of her involvement. She did, however, downplay details of the work she did on the project. Ivanka said this Friday morning:
“Ms. Trump did not know about this proposal until after a non-binding letter of intent had been signed, never talked to anyone outside the organization about the proposal, never visited the projected project site and was only minimally involved.”
Don Jr. and Ivanka were updated by Cohen on the Trump Tower Moscow project as well. It’s safe to assume Mueller is investigating them both. How’s Ivanka still in the White House? Oh, because he’s Trump’s daughter.

Is this the beginning of Ivanka separating her self from dear old treasonous dad? Or is she simply trying to stay out of prison? Hardly anyone is buying the excuses she gave for her involvement, including The View’s Sunny Hostin, who said this on a Friday airing of the show:
“What struck me as interesting is Ivanka Trump’s very carefully worded statement which, in my view, wasn’t necessarily a denial,” Hostin said. “She said through one of her spokespeople, ‘Ms. Trump did not know about this proposal until after a non-binding letter of intent had been signed, never talked to anyone outside the organization about the proposal, never visited the project site and was only minimally involved.’”

“That says to me, so you were kind of involved, but only minimally,” Hostin said. “You didn’t go to the site, but you knew about the site, and you found out about the proposal, but only after a letter of intent had been signed. So that kind of told me, well then, you just kind of confirmed that the BuzzFeed story is kind of accurate, right?”
