Trump Tweets About Covington Teens Harassing Native Vet & It’s Really Bad

When a group of schoolboys was caught on camera surrounding a Native American protester in Washington D.C., people cried foul. However, give the conservative media enough time and by god, they will figure out a way to spin it so that the young, white, and privileged boys are the real victims.

Along with the conservative media spinning it, Donald Trump has now stepped in the arena and issued his own criticisms of the fake news media and defended the young men – several of whom were wearing red MAGA hats during the protest.

Trump tweeted:

‘Looking like Nick Sandman & Covington Catholic students were treated unfairly with early judgements proving out to be false – smeared by media. Not good, but making big comeback! “New footage shows that media was wrong about teen’s encounter with Native American” @TuckerCarlson’

First off, Tucker Carlson is not the beacon of fair news that anyone should turn to if they want legitimate and truthful reporting.

Secondly, of course, the boys and their family are going to claim they are being treated unfairly. Sandmann, who Trump mentions, is the kid that has become the face of the group. He’s the one who stares grinning in the Native American man’s face. Sandman has since claimed he heard none of the kids chant, “Build the wall.” In fact, Sandmann has now tried to place blame on Nathan Phillips, the Native American elder.

‘He locked eyes with me and approached me, coming within inches of my face. I did not speak to him. I did not make any hand gestures or other aggressive moves. To be honest, I was startled and confused as to why he had approached me. We had already been yelled at by another group of protesters … I was worried that a situation was getting out of control where adults were attempting to provoke teenagers.’

Sandmann can try to claim he was “startled and confused;” however, in the video, he just looks like a white, privileged jackass wearing a MAGA hat.

If these students did not want to be approached by anyone, they should not have been bussed in by their school. They don’t look scared in the video whatsoever. In fact, they look like they are having a wonderful time.

An attorney who was attending the protest, Jessica Travis, also stated the kids displayed a mob mentality, and chaperones were nowhere in sight.

‘The kids really went into a mob mentality, honestly.’

Additionally, many former alumni of the Covington Catholic High School have come forward and shared their experiences attending the school, which they claim is rife with homophobia, racism, and bullying.
