Aside from throwing people in detention centers because of their race and nationality, the presidencies of Trump and President Franklin Delano Roosevelt bear no resemblance. Their economic policies are as far from one another as the North and South Pole.
FDR’s policies brought about the end of the Great Depression and the beginning of a period of great economic prosperity in which the middle class flourished and the United States became an economic superpower. Trump inherited a flourishing economy from President Obama.
