One of the most defining, not to mention disgusting, moments of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign came when he seated when who had accused Bill Clinton (who was not running for any office) in front of his opponent, Hillary Clinton, during a presidential debate.
Now, Trump is about to get a taste of his own medicine.
Victorina Morales will attend Trump’s SOTU address as a guest of Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman to highlight the Trump Organization’s failure to fully check the work status of all its employees, even as Trump described immigration as a national crisis. https://t.co/7XxwDuhOqS

Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ) has invited the fired, undocumented worker from one of Trump’s golf clubs to the State of the Union address. Trump will be forced to face a woman he used in order to avoid paying American workers’ wages while giving his “immigrants are drug dealers and rapists” speech calling for a southern border wall because of the “national emergency” immigrants cause.
According to The Washington Post:
‘Victorina Morales, who was born in Guatemala, will be a guest of Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, a New Jersey Democrat, when the president speaks to a joint session of Congress Tuesday night. Watson Coleman’s office confirmed the decision Wednesday.’

Morales says that the Trump Organization was aware of her immigration status and that her boss at Trump’s golf club gave her false documents to use in order to get a work permit. She was working for Trump during the 2016 campaigns as Trump ranted against people hiring undocumented immigrants and fear-mongering around how “dangerous” people like her are to our country.
‘The choice to invite Morales follows news stories about the Trump Organization’s failure to fully check the work status of all its employees, even as Trump described illegal immigration as a national crisis and demanded funding for a U.S.-Mexico border wall.’

After years of serving Trump and his guests, Morales was fired once Trump was exposed. It’s notable that her presence caused no problem or anxiety for Trump and his staff until he was embarrassed by the news. Since that time, she has spoken out publicly against her employer.
‘Morales has been the most vocal of the undocumented workers recently fired by the Trump Organization. She was terminated in December after the New York Times published a story about her titled, “Making President Trump’s Bed: A Housekeeper Without Papers.”’
I heard the stories of the fired workers from Trump's golf club, and I'm calling for an FBI investigation into the dubious employment practices of the Trump Organization. Nobody is above the law, not even the President. https://t.co/xI9LAYHaxT

Trump insists he is a “law and order” president, and one Democratic congressman is testing the truth of that claim. Rep. Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) is currently gathering signatures on a letter to the FBI requesting that they launch an investigation into the Trump Organization’s hiring and abuse of undocumented immigrants. The letter reads:
‘The number of immigrants claiming they were employed illegally by the Trump Organization has risen to more than 20 individuals and raises serious questions of criminal activity and numerous violations of employment laws at the Trump Golf Club in Westchester County, New York, and Bedminster, New Jersey — including conspiracy charges, procuring false documents, and forced and coerced labor.’
