Amy Klobuchar Hits Back After Trump’s Twitter Attack & It’s Great

After yet another day with yet another pretentious tweet from the President (seen further down in the article), Sen. Amy Klobuchar has officially angled herself as battle-ready to take on Donald Trump. It seems as though the two are previewing their arguments ahead of the 2020 presidential election, already throwing daggers via social media.

This morning, from a brisk cold and snowy Minneapolis, Klobuchar announced that she is joining a growing list of Democrats and tossing her hat into the ring for president in 2020.

Shortly after her remarks before supporters, President Trump took to Twitter to challenge Klobuchar. In heavy snowfall, she laid out her case on environmental issues, and stated that she’d push to have the United States rejoin the Paris climate agreement “on day one.”

In 2017, the Trump administration abruptly ended the United States’ involvement in the Paris climate agreement, a move that has been under constant scrutiny since.

Keeping her messaging on-point with a green agenda, which is heavily-supported amongst most Democrats, she said that will also work to “put forth sweeping legislation to invest in green jobs and infrastructure” if she is elected.

Since Klobuchar, like most Democrats and anyone who isn’t Donald Trump, are rooted in reality, she clapped back at Trump’s tweet with her own tweet:

Her response is total gold on so many levels; she owns him with mentioning science and even digs into him on his hair.

Naturally, Twitter was all about her clap-back. Here are some of the best replies:
