Donald Trump was so mad at President Obama for playing golf, that he vowed to never play golf himself if he got elected. As usual that was just another lie because since his election he’s visited golf courses 154 times. Number 155 is happening right now. Apparently Trump was so distraught after publicly announcing that we’re facing a fake national emergency over a lack of a wall, he had to fly to Mar-a-Lago to play some golf and unwind. By the way if it were a real national emergency he’d be compelled to stay in the White House and do his job instead.
At press conference Thursday discussing the one-year anniversary of the Parkland school shooting, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was almost happy that Trump was set to announce a national emergency. She said
‘Want to talk about a national emergency? Let’s talk about today, the one-year anniversary of another manifestation of the epidemic of gun violence in America. That’s a national emergency. Why don’t you declare that emergency, Mr. President? I wish you would. But a Democratic president can do that. A Democratic president can declare a national emergency as well. The precedent that the president is setting here is something that should be met with great unease and dismay by the Republicans.’
One has to wonder how she felt about the news that Trump was going to spend yet another weekend playing golf after today’s fake news. Evidently other pundits had a lot to say about Trump’s trip because #FakeTrumpEmergency was trending across Twitter today.
Trump’s immediate response to declaring a national “emergency” is to jet to Florida for a weekend of golf at his private resort. https://t.co/YhjWw5z9ga

The only real national emergency this country is facing is the one sitting down at Mar-a-Lago as we speak. The day Trump took office was the day this country started on a downward spiral. Luckily we’ll have a Democrat in the White House after the next election, and apparently Republicans will be okay if the new president declares national emergencies to start fixing a lot of the very real problems we’re facing in this country.
