Donald Trump is becoming more frantic as the hours go by. Now that former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe’s tell-all book is out, the president is hitting out at the FBI, the Democratic leaders, and most of all at the press. Here is his latest attack.
McCabe’s book The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump has POTUS seeing enemies everywhere. Two of his biggest perceived enemies are The Washington Post and The New York Times. He shouted that The Times was the “ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE:”
‘The New York Times reporting is false. They are a true ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!’
In a fourteen-page article, The Times put all the pieces of the two-year illegal Trump saga together. One of the commander-in-chief’s tricks has been to openly act against the nation’s pillars. Yet, if a man goes into a bank with no mask, robs it, salutes the camera, and winks — he has stilled robbed the bank.
The Times wrote:
‘Mr. Trump’s public war on the inquiry has gone on long enough that it is no longer shocking. Mr. Trump rages almost daily to his 58 million Twitter followers that Mr. Mueller is on a “witch hunt” and has adopted the language of Mafia bosses by calling those who cooperate with the special counsel “rats.” His lawyer talks openly about a strategy to smear and discredit the special counsel investigation. The president’s allies in Congress and the conservative news media warn of an insidious plot inside the Justice Department and the F.B.I. to subvert a democratically elected president.’
