Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) is one of the first candidates to announce her bid for president in the 2020 election against Donald Trump. Before entering the Senate, she was the attorney general for the state of California. Reporters caught her dining with Reverend Al Sharpton. This is what they wanted to know.
Reporters peppered her with questions about how credible she thought Jussie Smollett’s case was. She told them that she would need to know more about the case. “Facts are still unfolding:
‘I will say this about that case. I think that the facts are still unfolding, and I’m very concerned about the initial allegation that he made about what might have happened. And it’s something we should all take seriously whenever anyone alleges that kind of behavior, but there should be an investigation. And I think that once the investigation has concluded then we can all comment, but I’m not going to comment until I know the outcome of the investigation.’
Harris did not take any questions about the Jussie Smollett Case after her meal with the Rev:

Harris has been an attorney that clearly knows her business, and few would want to tangle with her in the courtroom let alone as California’s attorney general or president. No doubt, that will be an advantage should she have to tangle with Trump on the debate stage.
Smollett was charged with falsifying a police report, and the judge set Smollett’s bail at $100,000.
