Mike Pence hates gay people. He hates gay people so much that he believes they should be held down, sometimes against their will, and shocked with electricity in a way to kind of shock the homosexual out of a person. Regardless of the fact that the method was proven not to work decades ago when electro-shock therapy stopped being common practice, Pence thinks that gay people should be electrocuted if it means there’s a chance they may come out straight.
Pence’s support of gay conversion therapy and general belief that homosexuals will burn in hell for eternity is exactly why his meeting with Ireland’s first openly gay prime minister was so damned awkward.

After watching the video, Pence is quite obviously flustered. It’s almost like he can’t stop imagining what those two strapping young men do in the privacy of their bedroom.
Prime Minister Leo Varadkar and his partner Matt Barrett were at the White House Thursday. In the morning, they had breakfast at the vice president’s home, at which time the prime minister gave the following speech:
“I also knew at the time that I lived in a country where if I tried to be myself at the time it would have broken laws, but today that has all changed. I stand here as the leader of my country, flawed and human, judged by my political actions, and not by my sexual orientation, my skin tone, gender, or religious beliefs.”
“We are, after all, all God’s children.”
Karen Pence was not present, and instead, Pence’s sister greeted the couple outside the residence. People on Twitter speculated that Mrs. Pence was not available due to her immense hatred of LGBTQ members.
