On Thursday, Trump’s advisors and administrative officials were lined up for some kind of sycophantic recital in which they were asked by the president if he’s a stable genius. Each of them, in turn, agreed that he was. It was a sad display that utterly undermined his purpose. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) had a few words to say about the bizarre display.
There is nothing “stable” or “genius” about these public rants from a president.
Deranged, bizarre, incoherent, sad … come to mind. https://t.co/lIvBisqGvQ

When Speaker Nancy Pelosi referred to Trump’s “temper tantrum,” she wasn’t commenting on his demeanor during the meeting. She was specifically referring to Trump’s refusal to work with Congress unless they drop the very necessary and important investigations into his actions during the 2016 campaign. Trump’s little press conference in which his staff each agreed with him like little preprogrammed robots was as disturbing as it was “deranged, bizarre, incoherent, and sad.”
Americans can only look on in horror as the president continues with these illogical and alarming routines. In addition to the performance by Trump and his friends in the video, he’s also tweeted doctored videos of Nancy Pelosi stumbling over words (does the phrase “oranges of the investigation” ring a bell to anyone?) and lies about the conclusions of the Mueller investigation. No matter how many times Trump insists that it exonerates him, the line “does not exonerate him” is still written quite plainly in black and white in the report. His misleading comments about that report can be read exactly like his claims of being a “very stable genius.” Neither is remotely true.
Twitter agreed with Omar and had a lot to say about Trump’s staff’s staged performances. Read some of their comments below:
