Donald Trump does not read. That is common knowledge. He clearly stumbled over the speech he gave at his joint press conference with Prime Minister Theresa May. It was embarrassing to see that he clearly had not even bothered to read it through once in preparation. Plus, it soon becomes apparent that our president cannot even handle simple math.
The Brits look as if they might dislike Donald Trump even more than the Americans. Protesters poured into Trafalgar Square in anticipated hundreds of thousands. For some reason, POTUS did not see them as he flew in his helicopter from event to event. Instead, he saw a large imaginary crowd waving the American flag:
‘Trump: I haven’t seen the protests.
Also: Thousands of Protesters march the Streets Of London.’

Journalist Shaista Azia said Trumpism was a “resurgent global far right,” according to The Common Dreams:”
‘The protests will be about Trumpism: about confronting a resurgent global far right, defending the rights of women and minorities, fighting the climate emergency, opposing the threat of war.’
The people of England expressly dislike how cruel Trump is, his treatment of women and minorities, ignorance over climate change, and his “politics of hate.”
With the Trump Baby blimp floating overhead, columnist for The Guardian Owen Jones spoke to the crowd:
‘We are here to take on misogyny, racism, fascism, and hatred.’
Jones wrote a column before the mass demonstrations. He said that these protests “aren’t just about Trump, they’re about everything he stands for.’
‘These protests won’t simply be about Trump and the perverse reality TV show he’s treated the world to. The protests will be about Trumpism: about confronting a resurgent global far right, defending the rights of women and minorities, fighting the climate emergency, opposing the threat of war, and standing against an attempt to gut the NHS and trash hard-won rights and freedoms.’
Shadow government Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn refused to come to a dinner in honor of Trump. Instead, he spoke to the huge rally. He called it:
‘(A)n opportunity to stand in solidarity with those he’s attacked in America, around the world, and in our own country.’
