Trump Tantrums In U.K. Over Inability To Binge Watch Fox News

Imagine if the British Queen Elizabeth II started smoking long Cuban cigars and showing XXX movies at Windsor Castle. What if she handed out miniature baby Trump balloons to America’s self-described royal family as they arrived for a visit? Would it not be awful to hear her talking about Donald Trump’s hair using coarse words and tripping him as the two inspected the Royal Guard?

That imagined nightmare for Britain is similar to what has happened in reality to the U.S. We have a president who has tossed out all of the country’s presidential norms and behavior. He has tried to destroy everything that President Barack Obama accomplished during his two terms. Now, he has been standing at the country’s established institutions’ foundation with a jackhammer. One of those institutions has always been a free press, but when POTUS flipped on the telly in London, he could not get Fox News:

Trump typically starts his days watching Fox & Friends, but Fox News stopped broadcasting in Britain nearly two years ago due to low ratings. Trump tweeted:

‘I BELIEVE THAT IF PEOPLE STOPED USING OR SUBSCRIBING TO @ATT, THEY WOULD BE FORCED TO MAKE BIG CHANGES AT @CNN, WHICH IS DYING IN THE RATINGS ANYWAY. IT IS SO UNFAIR WITH SUCH BAD, FAKE NEWS! WHY WOULDN’T THEY ACT. WHEN THE WORLD WATCHES @CNN, IT GETS A FALSE PICTURE OF USA. SAD!’

In an early morning tweet, Trump said:

‘JUST ARRIVED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT @CNN IS THE PRIMARY SOURCE OF NEWS AVAILABLE FROM THE U.S. AFTER WATCHING IT FOR A SHORT WHILE, I TURNED IT OFF. ALL NEGATIVE & SO MUCH FAKE NEWS, VERY BAD FOR U.S. BIG RATINGS DROP. WHY DOESN’T OWNER @ATT DO SOMETHING?’

Not only did Trump complain about no Fox News, he attacked London’s mayor Sadiq Kahn:

‘Then, the president sent a couple of tweets attacking London mayor Sadiq Khan before landing. Then, he began leaning on CNN’s parent company AT&T to “do something” about its coverage of Trump.

It appeared that the U.S. president gets cranky when he misses his TV shows.
