CNN‘s Capitol Hill reporter, Manu Raju, is busy this morning on CNN Newsroom with Jim Sciutto and Poppy Harlow. Raju is currently asking members of Congress to chime in and for their response to Donald Trump’s comments last night on ABC News.

If you missed it, in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Trump admitted that he’s a criminal. See for yourself below and prepare to have your mind blown:

‘I think you might want to listen, there isn’t anything wrong with listening,” Trump continued. “If somebody called from a country, Norway, [and said] ‘we have information on your opponent’ — oh, I think I’d want to hear it.’

When Stephanopoulos asked Trump to clarify that’d allow for that type of interference, Trump shot back and again, shot himself in the other foot.

‘It’s not an interference, they have information — I think I’d take it.

‘If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI — if I thought there was something wrong. But when somebody comes up with oppo research, right, they come up with oppo research, ‘oh let’s call the FBI.’ The FBI doesn’t have enough agents to take care of it. When you go and talk, honestly, to congressman, they all do it, they always have, and that’s the way it is. It’s called oppo research.’

This news rocked every single news organization last night as it aired and calls for the impeachment have grown more loud than ever, as a result. It is hard to understand or stand in solidarity with any American; politician, an average Joe, left, right, sideways and anywhere in between; who does not support impeachment after Trump’s comments last night.

CNN’s Manu Raju has been tweeting the Capitol Hill responses to Trump’s comments as they’ve happened. Here are a few of his tweets:

Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL):

Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX):

When Raju had a chance to catch Trump-loyalist Lindsey Graham for a comment, Graham seemed ticked-off by Trump’s comment and stated, boldly, that “taking foreign information would be wrong.” This just happened, so what is available online is a bit shaky. However, check out a video below on Graham’s comments to Raju:

Shortly thereafter, Graham tweeted on the matter:

He then tweeted out an example of contacting the FBI, from previous statements he had made to FBI Director Christopher Wray:

He had our attention, until he began infusing Trump’s comments with the Steele dossier, and then his tweets slipped back into Trump-loyalist mode:

He then tweeted the following:

Just when we thought maybe there was hope on the horizon, Graham seems a little unsure. Is his loyalty beginning to wane? Only time will tell. One thing is certain though, and that is Donald Trump is beginning to tick members from all sides of every aisle the more he tweets and participates in news network interviews.

Donald Trump truly is his own worst enemy.
