Donald Trump is currently in Japan at the G20 Summit, where he hasn’t had the best showing in his previous two visits. He should be focusing on not embarassing the country in front of the entire world, but instead he’s focused on Hillary Clinton and lobbing schoolyard bully nicknames at his 2020 challengers.
The stock market, at this point in his presidency, is performing behind the measure of where President Barack Obama was. The stock market has fluctuated wildly during his presidency, taking extreme dives whenever Trump proposes new tariffs as some half-witted measure of creating trade deals, but it spiked during his election temporarily because he promised regulations. It hasn’t lasted, and the stock market is not the best measure of an economy’s success when the people you proclaim to represent are the blue collar working class.
As for Thursday night’s debate, the “big deal” is that there are excellent candidates outside of the two frontrunners, candidate who Trump will struggle with in the upcoming debates in 2020. Rather than threatening each other with prison or calling one another names, the candidates talked about policy and vision, and a few stood out as being the most knowledgable and informed.
Trump has never done that in a debate, and he won’t be able to do ti in 2020, either.
Twitter was not impressed with Trump’s rant from Japan. Read some of their comments below.
