Donald Trump took his extended family with him when he went to visit the Queen of England. The Brits were surprised. There was such a large crowd of husbands and wives that the U.K. royal managers had to scurry to find place settings at their ornate dinners and rooms in the palace. Clearly, Trump was trying to show off his royal family to the real royals. It appears, from the last campaign he sent out that he would like to be in office, king of the U.S. for the rest of his life. It gets worse.

First Daughter Ivanka Trump, 37, and First Son Donald Trump Jr., 41, have been battling to succeed their father in the White House, and they play dirty. Ivanka managed to snag the G-20 Summit meetings, traveling with her father for the photo ops, but many were not pleased. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) called the younger Trump out:

‘Ivanka Trump appears to be trying to get involved in a talk among Macron, May, Trudeau and Lagarde (IMF head). The video is released by French Presidential palace. ‘

The youngest member of the House of Representatives was especially unhappy with Ivanka traveling to the G-20 Summit in Osaka, Japan. Ocasio-Cortez saw a BBC video that showed the first daughter with the commander-in-chief and participating in a G-20 discussion. Others present were French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others:

‘It may be shocking to some, but being someone’s daughter actually isn’t a career qualification. It hurts our diplomatic standing when the President phones it in & the world moves on. The US needs our President working the G20. Bringing a qualified diplomat couldn’t hurt either.’

Trump has always refused to listen to his expert career politicians, but he listened to the first daughter. However, it was bad for the U.S.’s diplomatic standing when the commander-in-chief included someone whose only qualification was being related by blood. Trump would have greatly improved his diplomatic standing in the world had he brought a real diplomat.

While at the Summit, Ivanka led a U.S. delegation in a women’s economic empowerment discussion. The U.S. was the only country represented with an all-women negotiating team. The South China Morning Post reported that the president’s daughter represented America along with world leaders from “China, Japan, Russia, India, and Australia.”
