Veterans Group Throws Wrench In Trump’s Ego-Stroking 4th Of July Party

The president has planned an extravagant military parade after seeing how other countries waste their money, and people are in America are not very happy about the very costly party the president is throwing in his own honor.

Now, veterans group Veto Vets have released the following letter after seeing the president’s relentless bullying of late senator John McCain:

“Today, we learned the news that Donald Trump is turning the national 4th of July celebration into a 2020 campaign event, complete with a ticketed VIP section for friends and supporters. That’s not what America is about.”

The group plans to wear these John McCain shirts at Trump’s parade, which will certainly send the president into a tizzy:

The group’s vice chair Peter Kauffmann continued:

“It’s really a way to honor a family that, through multiple generations, has shown that the country is bigger than any one individual. July 4 has never been about who is president. The idea that Donald Trump can come in and sell VIP tickets so you can get good seats while the regular old people have to stay back from the area is antithetical to the whole idea of America.”
