Donald Trump, Jr. runs an endless snark machine on Twitter; in fact, it seems to be his only job. After his massive failure during the Democratic debates in which he retweeted and then deleted a birther tweet against Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), you would think he’d take a seat for a little while, recognizing that he’s hurting and not helping his father’s 2020 campaign. But on Wednesday, he was back at the Twitter insult game, thinking he got a great dig in at Democrats with a photo of Obama’s inauguration.
The point, as usual, sailed right over his greasy little head. The flags that hung in progression, side by side, at Obama’s inauguration were meant to represent the progression of the United States itself on the day that the first black president was inaugurated. From 13 colonies that espoused freedom only for white, male landowners to the great 50 states where all Americans have rights and freedoms, the flags honored change and progress.
One of the funniest parts of Junior’s tweets is his constant outrage over “liberal outrage.” While liberals on Twitter have already moved on to more important issues, like people being held in cages in indefinite torture, Trumpsters are still screaming about the Betsy Ross flag and Colin Kaepernick. Why they’re concerned about a football player they don’t listen to and a company they’ve already sworn off long ago (only to see Nike sales greatly boosted by their choice of Kaepernick as a spokesman) is anyone’s guess. Perhaps they simply have an addiction to outrage?
Twitter was quick to let Junior know that he’s missed the point. Read some of their comments below:
