Justin Trudeau is the leader that America wishes it had, which is probably why the president can’t stand him. Not to mention, Trudeau is a total hottie, and the shallow Trump has to know how bad the Canadian hunk makes him look. Regardless of Trudeau’s unrelenting hottness, he knows right from wrong and has a very compassionate heart which he uses to keep Canadians happy.
So when Trudeau heard news of Trump’s racist attacks on Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, AOC, and Ayanna Pressley, he was just as disgusted as the rest of us.
After mulling over his thoughts, this is what he had to say about it:
“I think Canadians and indeed people around the world know exactly what I think about those particular comments. That is not how we do things in Canada. A Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian. The diversity of our country is actually one of our greatest strengths and a source of tremendous resilience and pride for Canadians and we will to continue to defend that.”
Trump doubled down on his racist remarks on Monday, clarifying that when he said they should ‘go back’ to their countries, he meant that anyone who was displeased with his leadership was free to move out of the United States.
