Pelosi Master Trolls Trump Over ‘Rodent Infestations’ At Properties

It sounds as if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is about fed up with Donald Trump. As Democrats continue to peel off in support of impeachment for the president, it becomes more and more difficult for the speaker to provide protection to her members elected in red districts. Although the party leadership provides a united front, behind the scenes it is a different story. Finally, POTUS went just too far.

The president slurred revered House Oversight Committee chair Elijah Cummings and the city he represents Baltimore, Maryland, calling it “dangerous and filthy.” Pelosi fired back telling him to look first to his own family. CNN’s senior congressional correspondent Manu Raju tweeted the speaker’s comment:

‘Baltimore, says: “So the president – this comes as no surprise – really doesn’t know what he’s talking about. But maybe you could ask his son-in-law, who’s a slumlord there, if he wants to talk about rodent infestations.”‘

Speaker Pelosi said this about Trump:

‘(He) doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Ask his son-in-law, who’s a slumlord there, if he wants to talk about rodent infestations (in Baltimore).’

She continued addressing Trump’s attacks on Baltimore, saying:

‘So the president – this comes as no surprise – really doesn’t know what he’s talking about. But maybe you could ask his son-in-law, who’s a slumlord there, if he wants to talk about rodent infestations.’

The Baltimore Sun found 164 complaints against Kushner’s Baltimore properties resulting in 56 “correction notices and citations:”

‘The violations were all related to livability issued such as mold, insect infestations, mice, rats, window or door leaks, and inadequate air conditioning or heat.’

In 2017, the Kushner family business was also “the most aggressive” about asking the court system to arrest people who still owed his company rent, according to the Baltimore Sun:

‘Since 2013, the first full year in which the Kushner Cos. operated in Maryland, corporate entities affiliated with the firm’s 17 apartment complexes in the state have sought the civil arrest of 105 former tenants for failing to appear in court to face allegations of unpaid debt.’
