It appears that there is someone who sneaks into Donald Trump’s room during the few hours he sleeps and programs his Twitter account. Either that or the president has a dual personality, because his tweeting pattern gets completely thrown way off around certain official business, such as it did this morning.
In his first lone tweet of the day, Trump sounded almost presidential. He congratulated his new pick for United Nations (UN) Ambassador. We all know that the real Donald Trump cannot stop at just one tweet, yet here it happened. He wrote:
‘Congratulations to Kelly Knight Craft of #Kentucky on her confirmation as United Nations Ambassador. After having served so admirably as Ambassador to Canada, & having done an outstanding job no matter how difficult the task, Kelly will be fantastic at the United Nations. Winner!’
Kelly Knight Craft was a poor choice for UN Ambassador. She married a coal magnate who has been hit with fines and worse around one of the worst coal mine disasters in recent history caused by poor working conditions.
Craft has been the ambassador to Canada, but she seemed to believe it was a part-time job. During her confirmation process, the fact that she missed 300 days from her post came out, but that did not stop the president from putting her in this new important role.
Twitter world caught fire. Check out these and see what you think:
