AOC Thrashes McConnell After His Supporters Grope & Choke Cardboard Cutout

Who is this man they call Moscow Mitch? Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is married to the Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao. She has funneled infrastructure money to his state via a questionable move. A Russian oligarch and friend of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is building an aluminum plant in McConnell’s state, too. Now, this.

Is it a surprise that he is also a dirty old man who physically threatens women? The 77-year-old is the locked gate halting House bills from reaching the Senate. He just sent out a photo via Instagram that then went viral on Twitter. It looked like an “endorsement of violent misogyny,” according to The Washington Post.

The picture showed a group of young men from the senator’s campaign or volunteers. The obviously staged photo had them standing around a cardboard cutout of Representative Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). One of them grabbed the life-size cutout by the waist and acted as if he was kissing her. Several of the young men held their thumbs down. Worse, one acted like he was placing his hands around the cutout of Ocasio-Cortez.

She responded on Twitter:

‘Are you paying for young men to practice groping & choking members of Congress w/ your payroll, or is this just the standard culture of #TeamMitch?’

This was a pattern for the elderly senator who just fell and fractured his shoulder. McConnell has a formidable Democratic opponent in the 2020 campaign, former Marine fighter pilot Amy McGrath. She was the first woman to pilot the F/A-18 on a combat mission. Since then, she served 20 years and flew 89 combat missions bombing al Qaeda and the Taliban. Neither she or Ocasio-Cortez were people to take on as McConnell has done.

McGrath called McConnell out for his photo showing her name on a tombstone:

‘Hours after the El Paso shooting, Mitch McConnell proudly tweeted this photo. I find it so troubling that our politics have become so nasty and personal that the Senate Majority Leader thinks it’s appropriate to use imagery of the death of a political opponent (me) as messaging.’

The self-described “Grim Reaper” has gone way beyond what was appropriate. It would take only one person to take McConnell literally:

The Grim Reaper of Socialism at #FancyFarm today.’

McConnell campaign manager Kevin Golden released a statement:

‘These young men are not campaign staff, they’re high schoolers and it’s incredible that the national media has sought to once again paint a target on their backs rather than report real, and significant news in our country.’

The Kentucky senator has been blocking gun-control measures in spite of the recent mass shootings, three within a week. Soon it will be a daily occurrence until McConnell lets the legislation onto the Senate floor.

Golden said:

‘Team Mitch in no way condones any aggressive, suggestive, or demeaning act toward life sized cardboard cut outs of any gender in a manner similar to what we saw from President Obama’s speechwriting staff several years ago.

‘We’ve watched for years as the far-left and the media look for every possible way to demonize, stereotype, and publicly castigate every young person who dares to get involved with Republican politics.’
