A Republican candidate in Georgia has dropped out of the race for Rep. Lucy McBath’s (D-GA) congressional seat after admitting that he’s a “white nationalist.”

In a video posted to Facebook on Saturday, Donnie Bolena referenced an allegation that he sexually propositioned a woman online, blaming that on being “hacked” and also talked about a video he posted last week where he identified himself as a “proud white nationalist.”

‘Some of it was self-inflicted. Some of it wasn’t. My account was hacked. Things have taken place…

‘I said I was a proud white nationalist. Due to the shootings that happened in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas, I was very aggravated and very mad at the way the liberal media comes after conservatives. It comes after our Second Amendment.’

According to USA TodayBolena also said that “the chair of the party had approached Bolena about leaving.”

‘I said this to the chairman when I talked to him this morning. I said, I am so sick of being attacked for being white. Why are white people apologizing for being white?…I don’t see no black people out there apologizing for being black. And I don’t see no Asian people out there apologizing for being Asian. I don’t get it.’

He also made a Facebook post on Wednesday saying that “I don’t think White Nationalist are the problem,” along with an article from a far-right outlet about shootings in Chicago.

‘Yet all we Here [sic] is about White Nationalist? I don’t think White Nationalist are the problem, I think we all know what the real problem is now don’t we? Yet, not a word about this in the Lame Stream Media. Just another day at the office right.’

On Wednesday it appeared that Bolena left the Republican party, which he claims he did because Trump’s reelection campaign reached out to the Georgia Republican Party after the remarks.

‘I was told, ‘Donnie, if you stay in it, and CNN breaks this story, you’re going to hurt President Trump, and you’re going to hurt District 6, and you’re going to hurt the country. They will use this to destroy every Republican.’

He also claimed on Saturday that CNN was “about to break a story on me,” although when we did a search of CNN’s website for his name returned no results. Shocking, I know…

But have no fear… Bolena posted that he has formed a new political party — the “Ultra Conservative Party.”

It just gets more and more ridiculous every day in Trumpland…
