Donald Trump has been tweeting nearly around the clock. He walked away from the Group of 7 (G-7) Summit with his dignity intact, something he was unable to do last year. The other world leaders have finally figured out how to deal with America’s erratic president.
Even though the bar was just a few inches off of the floor, this 45th president of these United States sounded more presidential than he ever has. That was still not very presidential. He did speak in whole sentences during his final press conference. He did not beat up reporters for asking hard questions. Of course, he still lied, and this was his biggest whopper:
‘I’m an environmentalist.’
Trump took this G-7 twilight period to retweet Representative Mark Green’s (R-TN) compliment for moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem:
‘Thank you Mark!’
Then, the president showed the joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron. France’s president left Trump at the podium before heading off to his own final press conference:

Then, POTUS agreed with Representative Doug Collins (R-GA) call-out of Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI), who announced he was retiring due to his baby’s heart condition:
‘I agree 100%!’
Trump must have had a good time, because he tweeted a farewell thank you to Macron complete with the two nations flags flying side-by-side:

There were no big ideas that emerged from this all-important meeting. The group decided to give Amazon basin countries an insufficient $20 million to help deal with the tragic fires.
Trump took the opportunity to promote his financially distressed Durham Golf Resort in Miami, Florida as the ideal spot for the next G-7 Summit. Of course, he would financially gain from the member nations’ entourages and all the secret service preparation.
