Trump Goes Full Stupid When Asked About Adding Murderer To G7 Summit

President Trump has been buddying up to Vladimir Putin for a few years, that we know of, but their relationship undoubtedly goes back further than campaign for the presidency in 2016. Trump praises the murderous Russian dictator any time he sees an opportunity, even when it makes him look like a puppet.

Now, Trump is doing it again while at the G7 Summit where he is pushing the idea of adding Russia, an enemy to the U.S., to the event to discuss global issues, none of which Vlad cares about.

Next year’s summit will be held in the United States, and if Trump has anything to do with it, he will be using his Miami golf resort as the venue. When asked by a reporter Monday if he intended on inviting Putin to the 2020 G7 Summit, Trump said:

“Would I invite him? I would certainly invite him. Whether or not he could come psychologically, I think that’s a tough thing for him to do.”

Russia used to be a part of what was then the G8 Summit, but was kicked out in 2014 for the annexation of Crimea in Ukraine. Now, Trump wants to forget all that, and the fact that Russia interfered with the 2016 presidential election, and let Russia have a platform once again.

Trump continued:

“Whether you like it or not, and it may not be politically correct, but we have a world to run. And in the G-7, which used be the G-8, they threw Russia out. They should let Russia come back in because we should have Russia at the negotiating table.”

But why is Trump pushing so hard for Russia to be at the G7 negotiating table? Why does it affect him either way? He can’t be working for free, that’s for sure, so whatever he is getting for this lip service is certainly worth the trouble.

Trump, still talking about adding Russia back to the summit, continued:

“I think it would be better to have Russia inside the tent than outside the tent. Do we live either way? Yes, we live either way. Is it politically popular for me to say that? Possibly not.”
