The president can’t keep an employee to save his life. The turnover rate in Trump’s White House is unlike anything any president has ever seen. From possible subpoenas to likely indictments, people run from the president like he’s on fire.
Now, the president’s personal assistant has resigned from his post, but not for the reason you think.
According to NY Times:
“President Trump’s personal assistant, Madeleine Westerhout, whose office sits in front of the Oval Office and who has served as the president’s gatekeeper since Day 1 of his administration, resigned on Thursday, two people familiar with her exit said.”
Her resignation is quite scandalous, as she only left because the president found out that she has leaked private information about the inner-workings of the White House, as well as details about his family that he doesn’t want exposed.
The betrayal apparently happened at a dinner with reporters that was “off-the-record.”

The Times continued:
“The breach of trust meant immediate action: Ms. Westerhout, one of the people familiar with her departure said, was now considered a “separated employee” and would not be allowed to return to the White House on Friday.”
The White House has not commented on Westerhout’s departure from her position.
