Anti-Trump Church Sign In Alabama Stirs Up White Trouble For Black Pastor

The president is surprisingly popular with the Christian crowd, which surprised a lot of people who actually believed that religious people were good at heart for the most part. What we’ve seen since Trump took office, is people using his sudden religiosity as an excuse to support his terroristic policies.

Not all religious people, however, as one church in Alabama just proved. The New Era Baptist Church in Birmingham just changed their sign to call any black person who votes for Trump “mentally ill.”

Check this out:

One sign clearly reads: “A black vote for Trump is mental illness,” while another reads: “A white vote for Trump is pure racism.” Half of the country is in pure agreement with the church.

The church’s pastor, Michael Jordan, has received much backlash from white people, but stands by his message, saying:

“God motivates me to take a stand for what’s right. Read the Bible and look in the White House. If they call me a racist, look in the White House.”

“When you vote for Donald Trump, you are supporting institutionalized racism.”

We are with you, sir.
