The man who thought it would be a good idea to nuke hurricanes until someone told him what it would do to Mar-a-Lago shows how bad of an education Donald Trump’s father bought for him. All of the president’s generals and all of his Secretaries of State saw there was no way to put POTUS’ brain together well enough for him to really do his job as president. It appears that the commander-in-chief had a bit of trouble with his geography, too.
Trump tweeted that Alabama would be “hit (much) harder than anticipated:”
‘In addition to Florida – South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated. Looking like one of the largest hurricanes ever. Already category 5. BE CAREFUL! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!’
The National Weather Service located in Birmingham, Alabama quickly sent out a tweet telling people they “will NOT see any impacts” from the current hurricane. The reason, of course, was that Hurricane Dorian was tracking along the eastern coast:
‘Alabama will NOT see any impacts from #Dorian. We repeat, no impacts from Hurricane #Dorian will be felt across Alabama. The system will remain too far east. #alwx’
