The White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham finally had her opportunity to talk trash about CNN. Many have been having a good time at Donald Trump’s expense. Much like a fifth-grader, he tried to cover up a geographical mistake with something worse. He placed Alabama in the path of Hurricane Dorian. CNN’s response to Grisham was priceless.

She lit on the news outlet’s mistake when it labeled the southern state of Alabama as “Mississippi.” Then, the press secretary sent CNN a tweet dripping with sarcasm. She pointed out how they had mislabeled a map:

Hi @CNN, I know you guys are busy analyzing lines on a map, but perhaps you use your time to study up on U.S. geography?’

The network responded with its own tweet. CNN admitted to the mistake, fixed it, and came back with its own sarcastic punch:

‘Replying to @PressSec and @CNN Thanks, Stephanie. Yes, we made a mistake (which we fixed in less than 30 seconds). And now we are admitting it. You all should try it sometime.’

CNN was using the map to show Dorian’s pathway as it moved up the nation’s Atlantic coast toward the Carolinas.

The president has been stuck trying to cover up his mistake of including Alabama in Hurricane Dorian’s danger zone with lie after lie.

Immediately after Trump said on live television that Alabama was in danger, the National Hurricane of Alabama came out with its own disclaimer.

In spite of everything, POTUS pulled out a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration map in the Oval Office map to visually demonstrate how right he was. It appeared he had altered the map to include Alabama in the original hurricane pathway with his engraved Sharpie.

The president has continued to argue that “certain models strongly suggested” the monster storm would travel over Florida then hit Alabama.

The National Hurricane Center never included Alabama in its projections.

Twitter world enjoyed the dueling tweets. See what they said below:
