Donald Trump had the disciples in his rallies convinced that the 2016 presidential election was rigged. It was — by the Russians and in favor of him. POTUS’ Twitter account has a photo of a hand holding up a great big bright red sign saying “Trump 2024.” What does this slick political salesman have in mind?
In a morning tweet, he quoted Representative Al Green (D-la), who has been calling for his impeachment since 2017:
‘“We can’t beat him, so lets (sic) impeach him!” Democrat Rep. Al Green’
Clearly, the president was worried about being impeached. Robert Mueller III and his Russia investigation was supposed to be the knockout blow. Instead, that failed after Attorney General William Barr manipulated the report’s release in a Republican PR move:
‘“This should have been over with after the Mueller Report came out.” @guypbenson @FoxNews’
During Cohen’s testimony before the House Oversight Committee last winter, the attorney who knows Trump so well gave a stark warning to Americans. He said, according to
‘Given my experience working for Mr. Trump, I fear that if he loses the election in 2020, there will never be a peaceful transition of power.’
