Sanders, Biden, & Warren All Defeat Trump In Latest 2020 Polling

It appears Donald Trump has a numbers fixation. As numbers go, he should be feeling pretty bad. POTUS is getting sued by state and federal governments left and right. He was busted for funneling the military to his Scottish golf resort for a pretty profit. The gang of eight could unravel the whistleblower’s dirt. Oh, but it gets worse.

In the news, there have been a couple of sets of numbers that the supposed leader of the free world fears, among others: the size of his crowds and his poll numbers. Of course, Trump has lied about those numbers — always boosting them upward or calling them “fake news” Yet, deep down the new numbers must hurt.

When his favorite news outlet came on, he had to be disappointed. The new Fox News poll showed Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), former vice president Joe Biden (D), and Senators Elizabeth (D-MA) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) all beat Donald Trump, according to The Newsweek magazine:

‘New 2020 matchup-numbers in Fox News poll.’

The Fox News poll showed Trump losing to all of the leading Democratic candidates. The poll showed them leaving him in the dust: Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) pulled down 48 percentage points to Trump’s 40 percent. Former vice president Joe Biden came in at 52 percent versus 38 percent. Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) carried 46 percent to 40 percent, and Kamala Harris (D-CA) took 42 percent to his 40 percent.

A year ago, the president’s numbers were far better:

Fox News conducted the newest poll between September 15 and September 18. Sanders came in with a strong second place, up eight points from Trump. Biden was in the double digits. Warren continued to gain points on the president. Harris’ numbers fell within the margin of error.

That must have been a downer after his September 15 FiveThirty Eight poll, where the president said that he was way ahead. Trump tweeted:

Thank you, working hard! #KAG2020

The Fox News poll was not the only time that Trump was down in the polls. Numbers at this point in the primaries tend to be squishy. In the August poll, POTUS was doing worse than all five Democratic presidential candidates.

Then, those numbers began to slip:

As more numbers continued to hit the president, he knew he could manipulate them.

The commander-in-chief’s attorneys have been trying to block New York’s attorney general’s request for eight years of his tax returns. They sued Manhattan District Attorney General (AG) Cyrus Vance, Jr. These and other financial records would show illegal payments the president made to two women who said they had a sexual relationship with them.

Trump just returned from a California fundraising trip. He also went to tour the “new” U.S.-Mexico border wall. Actually, the wall was more like remodeled. Still, he took ownership and called it a “world-class security system” It was the tallest, widest, strongest structure. Someone should tell him about ladders than can bridge a structure.
