Obama Shows Up Trump With Weekend Tweet To All Sane Americans

People long for President Barack Obama. When he goes high, Donald Trump goes low. When 44 encourages people to trust their instincts, 45 tells them to be afraid, very afraid. When Obama encourages peace, Trump sends military troops into Saudi Arabia. What did the former president say today?

Our favorite president tweeted encouragement for young people:

One challenge will define the future for today’s young generation more dramatically than any other: Climate change. The millions of young people worldwide who’ve organized and joined today’s #ClimateStrike demand action to protect our planet, and they deserve it.’

Sometimes, it has helped to remember Barack Obama’s soothing words and that of others, all according to Brainy Quotes.  Obama said:

‘Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.’

Then, there was his tweet about “work hard” from Leah LaBelle:

‘Work hard for what you want because it won’t come to you without a fight. You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticizes you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive.’

The former president commented about getting started:

‘Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.’

Next, there was his powerful tweet from Les Brown:

‘In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.’

Obama was interested in a future of opportunities for Americans:

‘You can choose a future where more Americans have the chance to gain the skills they need to compete, no matter how old they are or how much money they have. Education was the gateway to opportunity for me. It was the gateway for Michelle. And now more than ever, it is the gateway to a middle-class life.’

Les Brown also spoke about the difficulties in life and what that meant:

‘I think that life is difficult. People have challenges. Family members get sick, people get older, you don’t always get the job or the promotion that you want. You have conflicts in your life. And really, life is about your resilience and your ability to go through your life and all of the ups and downs with a positive attitude.’

Our 44 spoke about choosing a change:

‘Now we’re in the midst of not just advocating for change, not just calling for change – we’re doing the grinding, sometimes frustrating work of delivering change – inch by inch, day by day.’

Joel Osteen felt the same way:

‘”Choosing to be positive and having a grateful attitude is going to determine how you’re going to live your life:”‘
