What a huge surprise that the Senate Republicans unanimously voted to force Donald Trump to release the courageous whistleblower to them. If feels as if the entire country heaved a collective sigh yesterday. This is what it is like to be living in the exciting middle of history from now on to infinity — at least each individual infinity. This is how POTUS is taking it.
The president was up early and tweeting to recommend a book (pause for laughter) about a plot by “crooked pols” to “rig an election and destroy a presidency:”

Trump fell back upon playing the victim, which in and of itself was unbecoming of a president of these United States. He labeled the Democrats as “frozen with hatred and fear.” Never has a president been “treated so badly:”
‘There has been no President in the history of our Country who has been treated so badly as I have. The Democrats are frozen with hatred and fear. They get nothing done. This should never be allowed to happen to another President. Witch Hunt!’
