Giuliani Has 3-Tweet Wednesday Freakout Followed By TV Meltdown

Today has been a crazy day for Trump, what with all of the meltdowns in front of the press and on Twitter.

And, to add to that, now Rudy Giuliani is at it — threatening to sue Congress and individual members (Democrats) over the impeachment inquiry and Ukraine dealings.

On Fox News Giuliani said:

‘I had a couple of talks with civil rights lawyers and a constitutional lawyer today and here’s what they’re recommending: that we should bring a lawsuit on behalf of the president and several of the people in the administration, maybe even myself as a lawyer, against the members of Congress individually for violating constitutional rights, violating civil rights.’

He accused Democrats of violating Article II of the Constitution, which gives the president the “power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur,” and continued:

‘They are doing extraordinary things. For example, they are violating — they’re interfering with the president in exercising his rights under Article II: The president of the United States conducts the foreign policy of the United States.

‘They’re calling foreign leaders. They are going to foreign capitals.

‘This is worse than McCarthy.’

For those who don’t remember, Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis.) was responsible for the search for communist supporters in the U.S. government in the 1950s, but I digress…

Not to be outdone by his client’s craziness, Giuliani then took to Twitter:

As you can imagine, the public had a pretty strong reaction. Here are some of the best responses:

It’s truly hard to believe that Rudy Giuliani is the same guy who rallied the city of New York and the entire country after 9/11. He has definitely lost what respect he had when he was the Mayor. Whatever happens with Trump’s current state of affairs, this will probably not end well for Rudy.
