Donald Trump took in $125 million just this quarter. That means that he and the RNC have more money than all of the Democratic candidates who have released their numbers combined. The question becomes, what is POTUS going to do with all that loose cash?
Trump has been openly waring against the “fake news.” He has notably gone up against CNN, MSNBC, The Washington Post, and The New York Times upon occasion. During his rallies, the president has incited to violence some of his followers by calling out the media by name and pointing them out in the crowd. Security has had to escort them to safety more than once.
All the president’s people came up with another outrageous act to deflect the public’s attention away from the impeachment news.
POTUS ratcheted up the tension by releasing a 30-second campaign ad: Biden Corruption. It was a propaganda ad making “misleading accusations about Biden and his son Hunter,” according to The Daily Beast.
Shot like a movie or documentary, ad played over House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA):
‘Joe Biden promised Ukraine $1 billion if they fired the prosecutor investigating his son’s company. But when President Trump asks Ukraine to investigate corruption, the Democrats want to impeach him.’
Then, the ad went after cable network news stars: Jim Acosta, Chris Cuomo, and Don Lemon of CNN and MSNBC’s leading host Rachel Maddow. It said:
‘And their media lapdogs fall in line.’
A CNN spokesperson told The Daily Beast:
‘CNN is rejecting the ad, as it does not meet our advertising standards. Specifically, in addition to disparaging CNN and its journalists, the ad makes assertions that have been proven demonstrably false by various news outlets, including CNN.’
Trump 2020 campaign communications director Tim Murtagh released a statement that read:
‘CNN spends all day protecting Joe Biden in their programming, so it’s not surprising that they’re shielding him from truthful advertising too, and then talking to other media outlets about it. Our ad is entirely accurate and was reviewed by counsel, and CNN wouldn’t even describe to us what they found objectionable. This isn’t a cable news channel anymore, it’s a Democrat public relations firm.’
Actually President Barack Obama and other world leaders saw Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin as totally useless in investigating Ukraine’s corruption. In an attempt to reinforce stricter anti-corruption policies, they wanted Shokin and like officials removed.
This is the ad that CNN refused to air:

It seems that Biden took the lead on his idea against Ukraine’s corruption, but several international organization wanted Shokin gone, too. These included the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the G7, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Trump’s campaign appears ready and able to weaponize his ads.
CNN has rejected a Trump ad once before. A few months after he became president, his people sent CNN an ad entitled 100 Days. It targeted the supposed “fake news” media, including CNN. Plus, it claimed the network had not given Trump appropriate credit for “making America great again.”
‘CNN requested that the advertiser remove the false graphic that says the mainstream media is “fake news.” The mainstream media is not fake news, and therefore the ad is false. Per our policy, it will be accepted only if that graphic is deleted.’
