Jimmy Carter Tells Trump To Wise Up & Tell The Truth (VIDEO)

Beloved President Jimmy Carter made an appearance on MSNBC Tuesday morning, just days after taking a fall in his home and cutting his forehead, requiring 14 stitches to close. Carter should have been at home resting, but just the day after the injury, he was out building homes for Habitat For Humanity. The 95 year old former president has shown Trump up many times in the past, but this one takes the cake.

Now, this morning’s interview is making its way around the internet like a rocket, and the president has likely seen it by now. In the interview, Carter says that Trump needs to start telling the truth. This is what Carter said when asked if he thought the impeachment inquiry was the right move:

“I think it still remains to be seen. Depending on what’s revealed in an inquiry. I’m a Democrat so I feel pretty much like the Democratic Party does, as you probably know.”

Then Carter threw the ultimate shade. When asked if he had any advice for Donald Trump, Carter said:

“My advice to him would be to tell the truth I think for a change. and also to cut back on his Twitter feeds and give the House of Representatives and also the Senate and I say the general public the evidence that we need to form a case either for or against him.”

A goofy Trump supporter posted the video, thinking that Carter was actually saying anything good. Check out the video below via a questionable account on Twitter:
