Ex-Ukraine Ambassador Blames Giuliani In Impeachment Testimony

The president always finds a way to get himself into a pickle, and as details of the Ukraine scandal continue to emerge, it seems like the president has bitten off more than he can chew this time. Trump has been trying his damnedest to convince the world of his innocence via social media, but after this damning testimony from former Ukrainian Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, that will be even harder.

According to reports, Yovanovitch believes that Rudy Giuliani got into the president’s ear about removing her from her post, which Trump did in early 2019, and she also believes that Giuliani’s reason for doing so was because her removal was beneficial to Giuliani’s associates, also known as the two men who got arrested Thursday and strung up on finance charges.

This is what she testified before the impeachment inquiry committee Friday:

“I do not know Mr. Giuliani’s motives for attacking me. But individuals who have been named in the press as contacts of Mr. Giuliani may well have believed that their personal financial ambitions were stymied by our anti-corruption policy in Ukraine.”

Giuliani refused to comment.
