Friday found one of the president’s lawyers, Rudy Giuliani, in quite the pickle as the former ambassador of Ukraine testified to the impeachment inquiry committee that she believed Giuliani convinced the president to remove her from her position in order to benefit his clients, the two men who were arrested Thursday while trying to flee the country.

Now, the president is distancing himself from his lawyer while speaking to reporters on his way to a Louisiana rally. Reporter Pamela Brown asked the president if Giuliani was still his lawyer. Trump replied:
“Well, I don’t know. I haven’t spoken to Rudy. I spoke to him yesterday briefly. He’s a very good attorney and he has been my attorney, yeah, sure.”

Why the sudden uncertainty?
It couldn’t have anything to do with the fact that Giuliani is now under investigation for allegedly interfering in government affairs for the benefit
